Rushock Church and John Bonham Memorial
Church and John Bonham Memorial
Set in the quiet Worcestershire countryside, St Michael’s Church at Rushock dates largely from the 18th century and stands on the site of an earlier medieval church. Its simple sandstone architecture and peaceful churchyard give it a timeless village character.
The churchyard is also visited by Led Zeppelin fans from around the world because John Bonham, the band’s legendary drummer, is buried here. Since his death in 1980, admirers have left drumsticks, flowers and personal tributes at his grave, making Rushock both a place of local heritage and international musical pilgrimage.
